Tupper Lake – On November 19, 2025, Mercy Care for the Adirondacks hosted their Friendship Volunteers and Elder Friends for a Holiday Craft Event at Raquette River Brewing in Tupper Lake. This festive Holiday Event brought together Friendship Volunteers, Elder Friends, and community members as they crafted beautiful, one-of-a-kind wreaths in a joyous social gathering. The room was filled with laughter and warmth, fostering meaningful connections among friends. We are so grateful to have such a supportive community!
The purpose of Mercy Care Creativity in Aging Events is to bring together Friendship Volunteers and their Elder Friends for social outings while expressing creativity together to help ease the isolation and loneliness people of all ages are experiencing, especially around the holiday season.
Transportation for Elders was coordinated by Mercy Care and provided by Friendship Volunteers.
