SUMMARY:Parish Nurse Retreat
DESCRIPTION:  \n\nMercy Care for the Adirondacks is pleased to welcome Jo Ann Paradise in leading our Parishes Nurses for a day-long retreat focused on COVID’s impact on the Hearts\, Minds\, and Spirits of our Elders. The retreat will be held on September 28\, 2022\, from 9:30 am – 3:00 pm at Guggenheim Center Lodge\, 1468 County Route 18\, Saranac Lake\, NY 12983. \nThe day will integrate our personal spiritual journeys with the ministry we share in this challenging time. We will discover how the desire for relationship is literally wired in our brains. Then we will explore the consequences of isolation on our already vulnerable populations. Most importantly we will open ourselves to the source of all relationships\, the God of Love. \nRegistration cost is $35.00 which includes lunch. If you prefer to pay by check\, please mail to Mercy Care for the Adirondacks\, 185 Old Military Rd\, Lake Placid\, NY 12946 and call Lexi Bevilacqua 518-523-5446 to RSVP. \nMercy Care offers a registration scholarship for those who may be experiencing financial hardship. We welcome all. If you would like to attend and need a registration scholarship to do so\, please contact Lexi Bevilacqua at abevilacqua@adkmercy.org or 518-523-5446. \nMercy Care for the Adirondacks requires all who attend Mercy Care in-person events to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
